I am unfortunately susceptible to cold sores, and have used the standard \'X\' brands over the years to heal these painful sores. This last cold sore reared its \'ugly head\' on Monday and by Tuesday afternoon there were 3 blister heads forming on my upper lip. As I had a wedding to go to on the Saturday I was desperate to get rid of this sore. Tuesday night, in desperation I applied Damage Control. The cooling affect of peppermint didn\'t bother me as much as the itching and burning sensation from the sore. I noticed that the pain had been numbed after applying Damage Control, which I was very impressed about. Over the period of 3 days the blister heads have reduced and there hasn\'t been any hard lumpy scabs formed on my lip. I have been applying Damage Control every 2/3 hours.
I was pleased to say that for the wedding there were no nasty scabby sores which stand out for all to see.
Thank you for such a wonderful product, in future I plan to apply Damage Control the instant I feel a cold sore coming on.
