Our Community
At Mount Romance we believe in working with our local community. We are committed to using local businesses to support us with machinery, equipment and services for our Sandalwood plant.
Since its beginnings Mount Romance has spent millions to develop its Sandalwood processing facility. Most of this was spent in our local community.
We also use waste from the blue gum plantations which contributes to employment and income in the region. Mount Romance works closely with the Forest Products Commission to develop alternative uses for WA's unique forest products.
Mount Romance also uses Active Foundation who employ people with disabilities to supply us with a variety of products including the finished wood discs and artistic wood pieces sold in our retail showroom.
