All sandalwood oil leaving the Australian Sandalwood Oil Company’s site is accompanied by a Certificate of Analysis, which confirms its purity and constituent concentration, in addition to a Material Safety Data Sheet.

A Standard Operating Procedures Manual documents all processes.

Laboratory facilities enable all sandalwood to be analysed prior to oil extraction to ensure constituents are known and quantified. This ensures that wood is directed into the appropriate product stream before distillation. Standard procedures document instrument operation and maintenance, thus assuring optimal performance.

Controls are run with all oil samples, through all processes, to ensure methodology remains optimal.

External lab analyses are used to confirm the accuracy of MRA data generated on a regular basis.
